There was one gas station in cities across Somerset County selling diesel gas at the lowest price of $5.49 per gallon in the week ending May 30, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The county registered an average of $5.77 per gallon for diesel gas.
Of the 46 reported gas stations in cities within Somerset County, 12 offered diesel gas.
For comparison, the average price of diesel gas in Maine was $5.74 per gallon for the week ending May 30, down from the previous week.
