On Saturday, March 7, Morgan Cunningham, a former Cony High School standout, contributed as her current team, the Southern Maine Huskies, secured a 67-59 victory over the Bowdoin Polar Bears in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The matchup, held at Morrell Gymnasium with a 7:45 p.m. tipoff, marked the Huskies’ first tournament encounter against Bowdoin.
Southern Maine will play next on Friday, March 13, with a 4 p.m. game scheduled at John A. Paulson Center.
