On Saturday, March 7, Emma Stred, a former Erskine Academy standout, helped lead her current collegiate team, the Southern Maine Huskies, to a 67-59 victory over the Bowdoin Polar Bears in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The matchup, held at Morrell Gymnasium at 7:45 p.m., marked the first meeting between the Huskies and the Polar Bears in this tournament.
Southern Maine Huskies are set to play their next game on Friday, March 13 at 4 p.m. at the John A. Paulson Center.
