Emma Stred, a former Erskine Academy standout, contributed to her current collegiate squad, the Southern Maine Huskies, as they secured a 62-46 win over the JWU Providence Wildcats on Friday, March 6, during the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The matchup, which started at 5:15 p.m., was held at Morrell Gymnasium and marked the Huskies’ first tournament game against the JWU Providence Wildcats.
The Southern Maine Huskies are scheduled to play again at Morrell Gymnasium on Saturday, March 7, with tip-off at 7:45 p.m.
