The University of Maine at Augusta enrolls 4,128 undergrads

At the University of Maine at Augusta, 61 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 70 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Augusta enrolled 4,128 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 11.9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

96 percent of undergraduates are residents of Maine, and 3 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (74 percent) and two or more races (3 percent).
