Join us in welcoming Brooke to the KVCC team as our newest Student Success Advisor! Brooke grew up in Central Maine, beginning her career in education through tutoring in the writing center and teaching college composition at the University of Maine. After teaching for two years, she joined the advising team at KVCC in 2022. She earned both her BA and MA in English from the University of Maine. Brooke believes that getting to know the whole picture of each student -- from their values skills, and ambitions, to the day-to-day challenges they face -- is the key to coming up with an individualized path towards success. She is committed to helping students plan and achieve their education and career goals in ways that target their needs as individuals. In doing this, she works to connect students to all of the resources and information needed to attain their goals. Welcome to KVCC!
