The Gallery at Trove is excited to announce the solo show of Maine artist Rachel Siviski titled - The Faraway Nearby
This collection explores how perspective, emotion, and time play tricks on even the most familiar places in our worlds. Landscapes are both real—made from earth, air and water—and acts of imagination and memory. The title "The Faraway Nearby" is borrowed from a book by writer Rebecca Solnit.
Rachel lives in midcoast Maine with her partner and their son.
Showing in The Galley at Trove August 10th - August 28th.
A meet the artist reception is schedule for August 14th, 1-3 pm.
Trove is located in Historic Downtown Searsport 36 E. Main Street.
