We celebrated the grand re-opening of the Ground Round Sports Grille and Tap Room at 215 Whitten Rd in Hallowell. Chris Clarke and Trevor Scott took over the Ground Round Sports Grille on April 1st and have made many improvements. They started by throwing away the processed food and switching to farm fresh produce and meats, hand grinding their burgers, and personally selecting their chicken supplier. Chef Chris and the crew in the kitchen bring a whole new level to their vast menu offerings of burgers, fish, steak, and sandwiches. At the same time, upfront Trevor and the crew have redeveloped what it means to give excellent service. You’ll be greeted with a smile, freshly updated scenery, and the best drinks every time you walk in. Join them tomorrow, Saturday the 13th, when they will host a significant corn hole tournament qualifier from 5-7 pm (registration opens at 4 pm), have a live band, and drink specials all day! Come to the Ground Round and “eat, play, gather.”
