The Colby College Volleyball team grabbed a conference win over Hamilton College 3-1 (25-23, 25-18, 19-25, 25-22). Now the Mules sit with an even NESCAC record at 4-4 and 12-5 overall.
Throughout the match both teams played well which led to close scores in all four sets but it was Colby sneaking away in the end. 12 seemed to be the number today as Colby grabbed a team total of 12 aces and 12 blocks. Out of those blocks, Hannah Wyllie led with six, followed by Mariella Hilyard at five, and Natalie Bumpus right behind with four. Emma Davis led the Mules in kills with 12 (again that number) while Wyllie and LJ Grant both contributed nine.
Colby will now head back home to Mayflower Hill for the remaining five games in the regular season. First they will take on the University of Southern Maine Wednesday at 7pm for their Student Athlete Appreciation Night.
