The Colby College Men's Squash Team defeated the Middlebury College Panthers 7-2 in the second of four straight NESCAC matchups for the Mules. The Mules are now 5-4 overall and 4-1 in NESCAC conference competition.
Some highlights include three 3-0 wins from Dylan Tymkiw, Jonathan Sosa Uranga, and Rintaro Yamamoto. The win today by Jonathan Sosa Uranga marks his 6th straight win this season. Youssef Mostafa also sees his 6th straight win off a 3-1 match, falling in his second round but coming back in the third and fourth rounds to secure the victory. Adrian Castillo went into his 5th round tied at 2-2 before reaching ten-all in the final round and excelling past his opponent to win the round 14-12 and win the match. Syed Kashef won his first round before dropping his next two rounds and finally winning the final two rounds 12-10 and 14-12 to secure his own victory. This win marks Colby's first back-to-back wins in the 2022-2023 season.
Tomorrow Colby College Men's Squash plays their final home game, before a six-game road trip, against the Williams College Ephs at 12:00 pm.
