Colby College Mules Surpass Rivals in Final Regular Season Matchup

Colby College Men's Squash competed against the Bowdoin College Polar Bears, winning 8-1. The Mules end the regular season 7-10 overall and 5-4 in NESCAC conference competition. 

Some highlights include a 3-0 victory by Youssef Mostafa and several other 3-1 victories by Dylan Tymkiw, Jonathan Sosa Uranga, Adrian Castillo, Sebastian Campos, Rintaro Yamamoto, and Alan Lopez. Dylan Tymkiw fell in his first round before winning his next three rounds straight to get the victory. Sen Subramaniam won his first two rounds before falling in his second two rounds, which went to 13 points and 12 points respectively. The final round tied at ten, eleven, and twelve points before Sen Subramaniam took the two-point lead to win the round 14-12 and win the match 3-2. Syed Kashef had a back-and-forth match succeeding in his first and third rounds and falling in his second and fourth rounds to take the match to the fifth round. The fifth round saw a 10-all tie before Syed Kashef pulled ahead by two-points to get the 3-2 victory. 

Next weekend, February 10th to February 12th, Colby College Men's Squash will travel to Williams College to compete in the NESCAC Championships.
