The Kennebec County Sheriff's Office celebrated Officer Duane Rood’s retirement today. Duane, his wife Cheryl and their family, along with his K.S.O family are grateful for the 27 years 9 months and 3 days C.O. Rood served our community. We thank him for his outstanding commitment and dedication as well as his family’s commitment to supporting him in his chosen profession. He will be missed by all.
