The Colby Men's Soccer team posted their fourth tie in a row, taking a draw against the Williams College Ephs and earning another valuable conference point in the standings. Colby is now 2-1-4 on the season.
Colby's defense has been impressive on the season, playing a major part in the streak of ties. Posting their second consecutive shutout, the unit has now allowed only one goal in the last three matches. On Saturday, the Ephs held the advantage in corner kick attempts (6-2), total shots (8-3), and shots on goal (3-1). Brendan McCarthy started his sixth game in goal on the season, turning away all Williams shots and earning his second shutout of the season.
