The Bowdoin women's squash team enjoyed an impressive start to their home campaign this weekend, recording a perfect 3-0 weekend with wins over Conn. College, Franklin & Marshall and Georgetown to improve to 4-1 this season.
Weekend Highlights
- 16th-ranked Bowdoin opened the weekend with a shutout of the 29th-ranked Camels with nine 3-0 wins en route to the victory Saturday morning.
- The Polar Bears posted a 6-3 win over Franklin & Marshall in the afternoon session, as the bottom six positions in the ladder came through for Bowdoin. Caroline Glaser (3-0), Ursula Sze (3-1), Clio Bersani (3-0), Mira Karande (3-0), Sophie Barber (3-0) and Delphine King (3-0) took care of business to assure the victory over the Diplomats.
- Bowdoin completed the perfect weekend with a 7-2 win over 22nd-ranked Georgetown on Sunday afternoon. Emma Watts-Roy (3-1), Darcy Weber (3-2), Amanda Cowhey (3-0) and Caroline Glaser (3-0) won at the top four spots. Mira Karande, Sophie Barber and Delphine King claimed wins at spots 7-9 to wrap up the win.
- Glaser, Barber, Karande and King led the way for the Polar Bears with 3-0 performances over the weekend.
- The Polar Bears will return to action on Wednesday night at the Lubin Center when they host 19th-ranked Bates at 6:00 p.m.
