The Colby College Baseball team used big innings in the second (five runs) and the ninth (four runs) to move past the College of Wooster 12-8 on Wednesday. Colby improves its record to 6-3 while the Fighting Scots fall to 5-6.
- Joe Sylvester took to the mound for the third time this season, this time earning the start. The first-year pitched four innings and left the game with Colby ahead 6-2.
- Plating runs in five out of the nine innings, the Mules tallied the most runs during their current spring break trip.
- Colby collected 12 hits from eight different players, including doubles by Clint Flippo, Brady O'Brien, Cole Palmeri, and Marcus Forrester. Forrester led the way with three hits.
- Ryan Grace collected an RBI single in the first and knocked in two with another single in the second, pushing Colby out in front 6-0 after two innings. Both hits came with two outs.
