Thomas College enrolls 1,645 undergrads

At Thomas College, 97 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 54 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Waterville enrolled 1,767 students in fall 2018, including 1,645 in undergraduate and 122 in graduate programs, data shows. 2 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

79 percent of undergraduates are residents of Maine, and 17 percent are residents of other states. 2 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (62 percent) and two or more races (3 percent).
