Up until graduation, we will be showcasing some standout seniors who have made their mark on UMA!
Today we'd like to introduce you to Cassidy Lessner, a graduating Nursing student, who is not only an outstanding scholar but also a rockstar when it comes to getting involved on campus. Cassidy has served as a Student Ambassador, a Community Advisor, and Captain of UMA’s women’s basketball team. If you find that impressive, she was also inducted to Sigma Theta Tau and was President of UMA’s Student Athlete Advisory Club.
When asked what advice she’d like to share to incoming first year students, here’s what she had to say:
“Become involved, use all the resources UMA has, and always reach out for help when you need it. UMA has so many opportunities to become involved, even if it's just attending the student life events. Being a part of the UMA community will enhance your experience and allow you to get the most out of your college journey!”
Thank you, Cassidy, for all that you’ve contributed to our UMA community. Congratulations!
